I have checked the Shogun 2 files (via Steam + no errors) I checked my whole system with anti-virus software (Kaspersky + no problems) These things I have done until now, but without success: I wrote to the support but I got only the standart procedure (no positive result at all) Of course I checked the whole wide Internet for hints about that problem and I am not the only one that can not play Shogun 2 like me! The game had run without any problem before but now I can not play it anymore. I own Shogun 2 (Retail version) and I own all DLCs and Fall of the Samurai, too. If you own a genuine copy of Total War Shogun2 or Total War Fall of the Samurai please exit the game, reinstall Steam. This is usually due to an attempt to play a pirated copy of the game, but may in some cases be caused by a virus or cheat programm. 'We have detected that your Steam installation has been corrupted and the game will now exit. The problem is, like many other poeple too, in the past it had run correctly but now the game did not run anymore.Īfter starting the game via Steam (all is listed correctly), I can choose the DirectX version (9 or 11) and the game try to start but then an error window opens and I got an error message:
